When I brake from going a from a fast speed, I feel a vibrating feeling on the steering wheel. Am I right in guessing that it might be the brakes or rotors or wheel alignment? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I have a 2001 Durango SLT 4x4 with the 4.7L.
I'd try the rotors, my 99 was doing the same thing. I had the brakes checked and the pads where still great. I replaced the rotors and it fixed it. Hope it helps.
Thanks for the reply. I will get this checked ASAP. Could you tell me how much you paid for this to get fixed? Just wondering what ballpark to stay within. Thanks again.
You might want to upgrade to a better rotor. The Durangos and Dakotas were known for crappy factory rotor. NAPA had an upgraded rotor as well as others. Good luck.
