brakes!!!!!!!!!
hi there! I recently bought a 2003 durango, of what I am proud, but this week hit the brakes hard and the whole suv went off, and the rear brake bulbs died. I send it to a shop and they replaced the bulbs and said that was the problem(yeah right) so I got myD back and a few miles I then hit the brakes on really hard, and guess what it happened again. if anyone has any suggestions please help.
I check the shocks, of they are OEM, get rid of them and go with some good aftermarket shocks. Monrow reflexes are good if you are on a budget, otherwise, go with billsteins.
Also, I seen that bad tires even if the tread looks good can cause the D to swerve to one side when under extreme braking.
Last thing is have someone check your braking system, maybe the master cylinder or calibers, etc..
