[:@][:@]2001 durango. whenever it is really hot outside,and im not carefull, i will go into limp mode with a p0700 code. when i use the drbIII and go deeper into the tranny with it it tells me the code is for the trans temp sensor. as far as i know i have to replace the whole valve body to replace the sensor. my question to all of you is, has anyone have knowledge of similar problems and there cures? thank you for your time.

 

Get a new sensor and possibly a new fan. You may also want to go with a trans cooler...
