What's the word out there? Should I use shackles or add a leaf to lift the rear end of my durango. What's going to work best?

It depends on your application. If you do a lot of towing I would go with the add-a-leaf, it will provide extra support on the rear. If you just want to maintain the same ride then go with shackles.

 

Thanks Mean Green, you had replied to a similar question I had several months ago, i did not remember what you had said.
Another quick question. I also need to replace the shocks all around. Would I use the same size shocks once the durango is lifted or would the shocks differ? Also, do I have to change brake lines and so?

PR you shouldn't have any issues with the brake lines or anything for only 2 inches of lift and the shocks should be fine too.

how much lift do the add a leafs give you?

 

As much as you want. Hell you could get the stockers bent to give you lift but it will change the ride quality.
