Four months ago I bought a beautiful 2001 R/T with only 35,000 miles.. Well That's when my fondness for the durango stopped.. Lately it has been giving me nothing but headaches. It was stuttering and cutting out so I changed the plugs and wires, problem fixed.. The next day I unlocked the door with the keyless entry and the alarm goes crazy, making aweful screeching and squeeling noises.. get in and doors wont lock. Door ajar light also stays on. Also no headlights, fog lights, panel lights, service 4wd light on, keyless entry doesn't work....So I unhook the battery to try and reset everything.. Which seems to of worked for now.. Now the only problem is about 5-10 seconds after startup the horn blows.. I honestly do love the look and style of the durango R/T, but don't know if it is worth it. Any ideas what the problem may be?? Maybe I bumped something when changing plugs? Thanks for any help

 

Could be the central timing module in the left or right kick panel.

 

Just happens to goe bad the same time as plugs and wires??

It sounds kinda like the CTM to me as well.When it goes bad crazy things like that happen.
