Yesterday my wife took our Durango in to get new rear tires mounted.

They encountered 2 frozen lugnuts on the driver side rear and torched / beat on them to get them removed []

Replaced one lugnut.

Now we have dinged and discolored wheel paint adjacent two of the rim mounting hole surrounds.

The mechanics didn't ask what they should do, they only called my wifre and told her it was all fixed and cost an additional $50........

I do all the work on our cars/truck (except tires changes) and have a lift in my garage.

I called the dealership parts department and they state no rim touch-up paint is available.

Any ideas short of laying out over $400 for a new rim.

I will probably end up changing out two wheel studs too....haven't looked at that yet[:@]

 

checked the salvage yards?

 

Rim is structurally OK, looking for paint.......

 

Powdercoat the suckers or go to a junkyard. If someone pulled that **** with me I'd be heated though. That is ridiculous...
