Default Tranny shifting issue?

I was just driving today and found that when I shift from Park into Drive, the jolt is more noticeable then usual. I was wondering if this is an ominous sign of things to come. I turned the truck off and started it back up and the jolt was still there, but not as bad as before. I have the 46re on it and it has 120000 miles on the original tranny. It shifts fine when in gear, and reverse works fine as well. Any ideas? line pressure too high?

The engine RPM could be to high or you may have a lot of back lash in the rear diff?

Just had the U joint changed on the drive shaft. Maybe thats loose. But im guessing not cause it drives fine at speed. I thought about the RPMs as well and tried shifting @ different idle speeds (AC on then off) and still did it I'll take her into the shop tomorrow as it needs the tranny fluid changed and maybe get the bands adjusted. We'll see what happens (fingers crossed!)

Could be your chain in your T-Case becoming loose or warn.
