Default yet another a/c blower question

Ok my dad owns a 2000 durango and he says that the blower motor just cuts off every once in a while. I actually bought that HVAC resistor card but its for a 01 - 03 durango (thought he had a 01 lirl)

Any suggestions

Never seen this problem on a 2000 before. My guess is to check the wiring harness that goes to the blower? maybe reseating it will help? Otherwise it may be your fan speed switch? I do not know if the 2000 models uses resistor packs but doubt it as no one ever posted a resistor pack fix for 00 models.

mine does the same thing. When you are over 50 MPH and have the RPM's at 2k, the ac just shuts off until you are done accelerating, then blows normal. I think it is the blend door as it is vacuum operated, and not worth tearing the dash apart to fix.
