Rear Axle Seal Leaking !!
I've got a 2001 Sport 4.7. The rear axle at the drive shaft is leaking bad. There is (0) noise and (0) movement in the drive shaft. I stopped driving it when I noticed oil being thrown up on the rear window. I'm looking for best placeto get it repaired in RI ..... tranny shop or dealer or ??

Sounds like a pinion seal gone bad. If you have a good relationship with your local dealer, I am sure they can handle it. Otherwise, a good 4x4 or tranny shop can do it. If you have not changed the axle fluid recently, this will be a good chance to do that and make sure all is ok internally. If there is damage, better to catch it now as the bill gets bigger the longer you wait.
