Default Rear speed sensor?

I went to Autozone to look for a rear speed sensor. I know that it's the one that goes on the diff, but the clerk says they have two. One for output and one for input. Which is the one I need?

Rockadaous, is the one you are showing in the pic on the diff. or on the transmission? Looks like on the transmission...

Yep, that's it.
I went to the parts store and got the output side (I already replaced the one on the diff) in hopes that it would solve my problem. (My brake and ABS light stays on). I do not have a problem with my speedometer or cruise. Just the brake and the ABS lights. I changed both and it seems that the lights don't come on as often??? I also bleed my brakes in hopes that would help too. I am lost. Any help out there on this?

I just replaced my rear wheel speed sensor, the one on the rear differential, and it took care of my problem (brake and ABS lights continuously on, as well as no speedo below 25 mph). Took about 20 minutes to fix with two open end wrenches, didn't even have to lift the truck, either (I have the 4WD model, so I got a little extra clearance). However, you still have to clear the computer code with an OBD. Local shop did it for me in about 3 minutes, with no charge (dealer wanted $42.50)

Jciscott,

Autozone and a couple of specialty auto shops said they couldn't get it, as it was dealer only. I ended up buying it at the dealer for $40.50. Kragen claimed to be able to order it, as an aftermarket part, as did Napa, for about $28, but couldn't exactly say if it was the correct part, although they were pretty sure. Just decided to get it from the dealer, since they had it in stock, and I was tired of looking around, obviously.
