Default Magnaflow cat back

Just installed the magnaflow exhaust on my 2002 durango. The two brackets that came with it busted when tightening, so I just got some replacements from an auto store. Wondering if the brackets were stainless steel too that were sent? Does anyone know. Thanks.

If you are refering to the pipe clamps there's pretty much all the same.

As far as rust goes , if you want to find out if the new parts and old ones are stainless, try to stick a magnet to the part, a magnet won't pick up stainless steel, unless it's ultra low quality, good stainless has a very low iron content, henceforth a magnet won't attract to it.

Hope this simple test helps you.
