Thanks for looking. I'm not having any trouble with my truck, but I noticed that when I turn the key on, the engine light flashes 11 times. I turn the key on, all the lights do their regular self-check, they all shut off except the engine light, which stays lit solid for 10 seconds, then it flashes 11 times, then goes solid again and stays that way. I assume it's normal, but was just wondering.

The CEL stays on when the truck is running? If so pull the code by turning the key into the on position without starting the engine, then turn off. do this 3 times and on the 3rd time leave it in the on position and write down the codes that come up on the odo. After that look in the engine code index and let us know what the codes are then we can help with your issue.

 

No, sorry, I didn't specify, this is happening with the key only in the on position, not with the engine started. I get no codes with the self diagnostic.
