But my Durango does not have the VIN stickers on the Right Front , Right Rear, Left Rear Doors, Tailgate or Lt & Rt Fenders, it only has the sticker on the Left front Door. I work at a Auto salvage Yard, and I know that some makes had stickers all over the car.For example we have a grand cherokee '98 with stickers all over the car. My question is when Dodge (what year) start with the stickers on the rest of the doors besides the tipical Lt Front ?

I always thought the VIN stickers has to be on the drivers side dash where you can read it off from the windshield? Otherwise, I think you can pull the VIN from the Durango's PCM also.

 

Vin is on the plate in the windshield.

The only door sticker is the drivers door.

There is a secondary sticker in the back of the glove box.

That's it. There are not stickers all the way around. IMHO that would be useless.

Thanks but other cars are full of these VIN stickers.
But I have checked other Durangos and they don't have the stickers, I spoke with the Police Dept. they told me that the manufactors placed the stickers on cars that were at high risk of thiefs
