Hi everyone.while driving my 2002 durango slt 4wd 4.7lt there is this humming shound. its not the tires just had them rotated.there is no grinding noise or any thing like that.any helpthanks alot.the noise is in the front end .

 

When did you first notice the humming sound? Are your tire pretty new by chance or pretty much worn where it is almost time to change? I had a set of tires that started to hum but only because I wore them down to the very very last mile. Otherwise, if your tires are new, you might have a defective tire?

 

A bad wheel bearing can sound like a hum as well.

 

The tires are new.
