Default Here We Go Again! 99 Durango Turns Over, but Dies...

No trouble leading up to this, but my wife can start the car, but the engine dies if she isn't reving. As soon as she takes her foot off of the accelerator, it dies.

Please help!

First thing that comes to mind is the battery, I would have it checked out. A tune up would probably correct any timing issues as well.

pcv could be plugged , may need to be decarbonized or combustion cambered cleaned may also need to have throttle plates adjusted and have computer resetted

Mickinsocal I think theres some sort of sensor (think it's a trottle postion sensor- T.P.S.)on the side or back of the throttle body I've heard of others here that had trouble with it might ask around this site how to check it ? Haven't had that problem yet. Sorry for your troubles![sm=roll.gif]
