i have a 2001 durango and the u joints are differnt then i was expecting i took off the one u joint on the front and theres no u joint on the back theres just 6 bolts and the drive shaft and i cant get that out how do i get it out

 

Magnum:

Try moderately tapping around the flange with a hammer. Rust sets up between the flanges, and holds them together.

it wasnt the u joints it was the front drive shaft it just wouldnt come out but after 6 hrs wefinally got it out the weird taping noise stoped so i ordered a new front shaft so hopefully its done with the noise but thanx for the info
