Default cold start rich fuel

Just curious,

Now my Durango is just a weekend vehicle, when I start it up from a cold condition, I briefly smell some strong fuel smell from exhaust for just a few seconds, then fuel smell go away. Is this a sign that my O2 sensors may be on the way out? I do not recall my D running that rich even for a brief moment from a cold start. I have 85k on the tach now and wondering if the 02 sensors may be wearing out prematurely?

I have the same thing only on start up for maybe a minute if that long I assume it's because the catalyst is cold
