Have you been able to verify that after all these repairs the pressure is staying where it should be so the system is primed for the next start?? If it is not, you could have a leaky injector. MeanGreen does make a good point that plugs could be part of this issue if they are really worn. The oem plugs are only rated for ~30k miles. If yours have more than that, and they are the oem Champions they are ready for the round file.
It is also possible that your new pump is bad. Not real common, but it does happen now and then.

well being the dealer they *Should* honor their work... People leap to easily and avoid returning... Service was never accomplished yet they still got paid.. Like letting me clean your windows for a transmission service [sm=happy046.gif] Bring it back to the dealer and get what ya paid for.

RE: intermittant extended cranking???? please help
I have a 2003 4.7L with 82000 miles and exactly the same problem. I have changed the IAC and TPS, cleaned the throttle body, and replaced the plugs. Mine is not throwing any codes, so I am starting to think it might be the fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. Before I go the fuel pump route, I am going to the auto parts store to have my battery tested (still have the original). Since this problem has become worse during the cold weather, I am wondering whether I am getting enough power. The cranking doesn't sound like it is underpowered, but replacing a battery (that needs replacing) would be cheaper and easier than replacing the fuel pump.
