Durango performance brakes
idk what mine has on it, but the brakes are extremely touchy, especially after i drive any of our other cars, just touch them too hard and get thrown into the dash the stock breaks are pretty damn good, at least on mine they are
would the tow package have something to do with this????

I spent $1400 in January... yes $1400 that's no typo... on Kevlar pads/shoes, new calipers, new rotors, Motul fluids, new wheel cylinders, new hardware, new drums, new stainless steel braided lines, new everything. Was there a marginal improvements over stock and any new pads/rotors combos I have ever used before... yes. Was it all worth $1400... no.
Had they been available, here is the route I would have gone. This represents the very best we could ever do on our Ds... a truely functional Viper setup for the Durango.

idk mine dont take much, almost all of my friends who have gotten behing the wheel of my truck(and myself when i first got it) have hit the brakes too hard and slammed everyone into the dash(or almost) they are even worse when wet,it really weird because even i occasionallly hit the dash when its wet out because my brakes grab too high on the pedal(compared to other cars)
for those who have installed upgraded brake parts and saw little improvement... read the "Bedding the brake pads" section of this DIY writeup I did on my ram... your most likely able to fix them if you take off the pads, scuff up the surfaces with an orbital sander and do the same to the rotors, then put it back together and go bed the brakes in as outlined in the writeup. it'll make a big difference in how the brakes feel. if after all that, they still suck, check your rear adjusters, they may need to be turned in a bit to bring the back brake pads in closer to the drums.
