2001 4.7l durango sometimes shuts off
i've got a 2001 dodge durango sport, automatic, 2wd, 4.7 liter, it runs excellent. its got about 70k miles on it, i just changed the spark plugs with champion iridiums, changed the transmission fluid, adjusted the bands, and rear diff fluid 2 weeks ago, put in valvoline synthetic atf 4 (whatever type mopar recommends). i've driven it maybe 200 miles and its stalled twice immediately after coming to a complete stop at a light. no check engine light, nothing...what could it be?
welcome to DF... check the intake air control valve... or AKA idle control valve. it's probably sticking or having trouble of some sorts. does it start right back up?
checked the gap before i installed them, they were within specs, there's no misfire codes so i'm assuming all coil packs are installed correctly
also new problem check engine light code P0007
edit: this could have nothing to do with it, but the last 2 times i remember the ABS going off
edit 2: starts right back up

I was recently having this same problem. I did get a code that basically said I was taking in too much air with my fuel, but it turns out we had a vacuum line that had come undone. Check all your lines and make sure they are connected.
