I belive the biggest vacuum line coming off the brake booster is the best line to use. I've heard in other forums that it passes through the intake manifold the most compared to the other lines, or something like that.

In theory, any vacuum line will work, so you can't really go wrong.

I add it to a tank of fuel every few months and occasionally simply pour it down the TB when running and prior to a new plug change. Never used a vac line.

is seafoam in the gas tank actually effective when diluted with 70 litres of gas??

On the can it says you can put it in the crankcase as well?? Ever done that?

Its like B-12 Chemtool but you dont have to change the oil right after, ive used it in the vacuum line, crankcase and gas, and in the gas, works just as good as techron as far as I can tell, good stuff! If your dirty, expect a good smoke show and make sure you do it slow into the vac line so you dont hydrolock your motor, I dont know how possible that is with a V8, but its been done with 4 bangers im told

And take it for a spirited drive afterwards, gets all the muck out.

When I did my honda, there was so much crap in the oil pan afterwards, it had trouble draining, so leaving it in probly isnt the best of things, but the seafoam wont hurt the oil, so it says.

When you put it in, make sure you don't shove the vacuum line right in the bottle, then it will die on you. Let it suck right out the the upright bottle. I find the best results are when you put it through the intake manifold, and then bury the vacuum line in the bottle until it stalls. Then let it sit for 2 or 3 hours; it get all the **** right out of the upper engine and actually lets the chemicals work. If you are putting it in the crankcase, do it just before you change your oil, cause it might dislodge some sludge (which isn't a bad thing to get rid of). Put it in the crank case, then drive for about 10-20 mins to let it dilute and circulate, then let it sit again for an hour or so. This stuff is great, but its a little hard to find up here in Canada.
