I think there is one at school here, but I've never taken the time to check it out. It may just be a "sport" model. No fender flare, looks like 30" tires, and just looks verysmall. I'll crawl under it and get a beter look.

IIRC:
They made less than 100 V6 Durangos, only in 4x2. They were indeed very underpowered for a 4800 pound vehicle.
The 4.7 engine is really pretty peppy. the output HP/and TQ are very close to the 5.9. You will also see a few more mpg as a bonus. IMO there are only 3 reasons to choose the 5.9:
#1 is engine envy
#2 is the 5.9 has more aftermarket mods out there for it.
#3 is if you tow bigs loads or tow alot.
Other than that, the 4.7 is a great motor, and to be reckonedwith.

show off, but yea i agree the 4.7 is a great engine, and mean, i dont know about that the 4.7 is not really that much slower, my frined w/ and R/T let me drive it and its not a hell of alot faster, o and a long trip ill get there faster bc ill have fewer stops for gas
