Where did you get yours and how much? I've not replaced mine yet.

Ebay...Auto Computer Exchange. It was $249 plus shipping...well worth it and they were excellent to deal with and easy to install.

Were they able to flash your VIN and mileage onto it or did you have to take it to the dealer?

They (Auto Computer Exchange) did everything and shipped ready to install, no trips to the dealer. Great company to work with and the software on the PCM was the latest from Mopar.

Default 99 SLT high idle

So I just started having a similar problem however it is at start up when my durango has the higher idling problem. I know it is normal for it to stay high for a few seconds while the computer starts 'waking up' the systems however it stays high until i put it in gear. I am going to o'reillys later today because my check engine light came on this morning.

So the code was p0122 after I wiggled the iac connector the light went away. I am kind of hesitant on buying stuff from ebay though. I had some faulty and wrong parts sent to me before...

Bite you lip and by OEM sensors from the dealer. I have never got a good sensor off ebay, usually cheap aftermarket crap that don't work.

I was going to replace the PCM, but it seems that it would fail all of the time and not just some of the time. I might take it to our local shop this week as I am out of answers. Thanks for the help and if anyonehas any suggestions they would most certainly be appreciated.
I learned that if your pcm is playing out it can cause intermittent problems but also from experience when the pcm goes bad it will NOT set a trouble code but will set the engine light so if u come up w/no code and have an engine light then its most likely the pcm. A shop will charge thousands to replace it, its about a 15 min. Job and then take it to someone who can set it(I took mine to a used car dealer and told him I just replaced the computer and he did something w/a scan tool, told me to drive a route for 50 miles and to go back to him), I did and bam it was solved for the price of the pcm, and $15.00 for what the guy w/the scan tool did. The high idle at first startup is what I'm trying to solve, I'm guessing it's where my iac wasn't fixed to the length of the original and I no longer have the original,so I'm stuck on what to do about that and I probably need to clean my throttle body while running. If anyone has any ideas as to how to fix my iac to the proper length I'd appreciate it.
