Default Procedure And Tools For Rear Pinion Bearing Replace??

I Need To Change Out The Rear Pinion Bearing/Bearings, On My 98' Durango 9.25 12 Bolt Diff. Can Anybody Offer A Walkthrough Or An Exploded Schematic For The Job???

Talk to johnnymagnum about a PDF 01 dak manual, 99% of the manual will be exactly what you have in your D.

I Talked To My Buddy @ Cottman Transmission. $200 Labor And I Buy The Pinion Bearings/Seal.
Better Safe Than Sorry For Me This Time

i have done this myself and it was only a pain in the a$$ cause i have never done it befor..... but for $200 bucksi wouldlet them do it.. that way they gaurentee it.. let us know how it all turned out.. I paid 475ish for my ring and pinion set from Randys..

100% agreed.

This is the kind of repair that, if you are not familiar with it or do not have the tools, is better done by someone who does.

Better to pay a little more now and have a warranty, then not and end up with a bigger bill and/or being stranded.
