Need to changethe rear differential abs sensor on our 2000 Durango , anyone have r & r tips?? Does this sensor read off the ring gear?? Thanks.

Yes, the sensor mounts into the top of the rear diff. IIRC, it is secured by one bolt. You might want to spray some wd-40 or other lubricantaroundit and let it soak a bit before removal. They can be tough to remove.

I would also try to clean off any crud that has accumulated aound it before removal so it does not fall into the diff.
