I'm very new here, I'm sure the regular members have lots of info for you. But I bought an 01 durango with 39K a few weeks ago and did a little research first. That '99 with 61K is nice for the price. What engine does it have? The 4.7 liter has some reports of sludge build up that can ruin the engine. Make sure it has had regular oil changes. One of the first thing I did when I got mine home was put in a can of engine flush before I changed the oil. Ball joints seem like a common problem. You can jack up the front and see if there is any play or slop when you try to lift up on the wheel. Good luck on your new truck. I love mine, it drives great, plenty of power, and looks classic.
