Have a 2000 Durango SLT with 91K. Recently had O2 sensor go out (Check engine light on). Mechanic 1 thinks it has been contaminated by transmission fluid seeping down the wiring harness. Harness was cleaned and new O2 sensor installed ... light was on within 50 mi. Dealer mechanic replaced both sensors .... light was on within 50 mi. Dealer mech also thinks trans fluid is seeping down wiring harness which he cleaned before he installed another sensor. Car ran fine for less than 50 mi. again! Next suggestion is replace the wiring harness at $600. I would dearly lve to avoid this. Anyone have a suggestion? DJ
