Got a huge dumping of snow last night... somewhere around 20cm and still falling

I had to drive about 20 km this morning, and not a hint of trouble. D drove straight and true, just the damn ABS is so sensitive. Think I'm just gonna pull the fuse.

How much snow did you guys get?

Ilive about 40 mins outside of Toronto

I live downtown Toronto and we got 30cm. I have a full set of Dunlop mud tires and the D didn't have a prob at all. I even pulled a mercedes 2km uphill and it stuck to the road like a champ. I have been trying to get it stuck so I can try out my new winch, but the damn thing just won't!

Awesome!! I'm in Brampton. I don't know for certain how much we got, but weather has said 20cms, i thikn its prolly closer to 30 though... it's really coming down. I've got Goodyear Silent Armours on the back, and Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT up front. Prolly don't hold as well as ur MT's, but they hold really well.

We got aboutthree inches overnighthere in Indianapolis, plus a coating of freezing rain. Roads were slick today, my 03 D held its own, had to try 4HI a couple of times to get out of parking lots, andona ice/snowdrift covered back county road but not for any significant length of time. Build Sheet shows I only have rear ABS but fronts didn't lock up and I was able to maintain directional control. Michelin X-RADS from last January still running strong.

I had about17 the other day which isn't much in your standings but, My BFG A/T KO's did great. The only thing is, I think I have too much power because I have to run in 4X4 anytime there is snow on the road. Just too much torque and the rear end slips out. Even in 4X4 the thing always spins on launch. [>:]

I live in the U.S.

These Dunlops are awsome. They have about an inch of tread. They don't even get clogged up w/ snow while driving. The only downside is they suck when you have to get on the brakes, hence the crack front bumper from the lack of ABS in the system (oh the joys of a 2000). Other than that, they are a great tire. How's your truck w/ 2 different types of tire?

No complaints. I had to replace the front tires in the summer cause i drove on a terrible allignment for a while, and they were like 3 years old.. so i put my 1 year old rear tires (Dunlops) up front and got some silent armours for a steal ofa price.

On the dry ground it drives well, doesnt pull either direction. In the snow its pretty good, really grippy in the back so it will understear a lil more than usual in 4hi, but unless I'm screwing around, I drivecarefully in this kind of weather

It's always fun to be screwing around in the snow.
I always take advantage of it at least once per storm.

I have the T/A KO's and got a good dump of about 2 feet last year and the D did much better then my full size bronco in the snow, was quite fun to turn off the 4WD and drift with the torque, till I got sideways =/
Mean green may remember last year around this time when 80 was shut down over donner pass for like a week
