for the past 3 morings my d temp goes up to around 250 a few miles away from my house and then goes back down. Thats the only time it happens. Its at the same spot for the past 3 days. What is this from. If it is the Termostat is it hard to replace???

Thermostat is cheap and easy to replace and that is the first thing I'd do to chase this problem down.

Willie:

I agree that the T stat sounds like a good place to start. While you are at , I would flush out the system really well, and put some good long life antireeze back in there. Finally, make sure that you purge all the air from the sytem before you button it up.

Sounds like theT stat is sticking shut for a bit.
