Default OBD Error code 1596???

I have only had my Durango for about 4 months now and I've had some issues, and whilst doing a OBD code check, the computer spits out a code of P 1596. I have looked all around for the meaning of this error code, can anyone please tell me what this code means. Thanks in advance. Even with the problems though I love my 2002 4.7L D!

Thanks OneBadKota for the reply. But what is causing this error code to appear and how do I fix it? Is it something easily fixed? Any help on getting this error code fixed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Could be a speed control switch on/off, clockspring or PCM.

I believe when I read on this elsewhere, they replaced the clockspring and it fixed the issue.
