Hey everyone, I have 1999 Durango5.9, The transmission won't shift all the time.
This might sound stupid, but when i get really low on gas, my transmission will not shift. Then i will drive my durango down to the gas satation and ill put gas into it and then it will shift just fine.
Please let me know if you have herd anything about this before, Thanks Joe

 

That sounds pretty weird, don't let it run low on gasI guess...

I would check to see if you are running low on tranny fluid. You have to check the level when it's warm. Park on a level surface and put the tranny in neutral then check the level.
