Default 01 Durango 4.7, surge or a slip?

Driving me nuts. My wifes 01 when driving down the road at a cruise randomly surges up for about 4-500 rpms but feels like a slip. Had dealer check it more then once and they say all is ok. No codes and I even had the tranny serviced. Problem still there. Last trip to the dealer and they told us that it might be the anti-lock break sensor which is about a 900 dollar part. Is this possible? Its under warrenty but do not waqnt to throw away my deductables at it if not needed.

0BR2:

I believe several folks have had a similar issue, and the remedy was to replace the TPS. Its a ~$30 or so part and changed easily.

Thanks for the info. I replaced the part and took it for a drive and seems to have corrected the problem along with a few others that we noticed. I will repost in a few days to make sure all it working.
