Default ideas for better mpg..

Any ideas on getting better gas mileage out there?? On my 98 D 4x4 slt I have a custom exhast, K&N cold air intake and tornadoair insert. Im also changing my motor oil to full synthetic which would help the engine out. I also added Amsoil ATF in my tranmission for better heat/gear protection.

Switching to a different type of tire could improve miles per gallon. Are yours stock?

Make sure your tires are inflated to the correct pressure. Air pressure in your tires drops in cold weather.....

What are you getting now with those mods? What were you getting before those mods?

generally the rule of thumb is, if gas mileage is a concern you dont buy a durango... the money invested in getting a 1/2 mpg here and there improvement it would take many, many years to recoup that in savings, spend the money in performance upgrades instead,
