When we brake the front parking lights come on and the left turn signal indicator comes on. Signals work with brakes on but very dim. Anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions. Thanks

My search turned this thread so I'll just add to it. Evidently not a common issue here and more of a nuisance than a problem. My '02 Durango has the left front turn signal and indicator lights coming on when the brake is applied. Heres the deal though, it only does it when it's cold, like 10° F or lower. When the car interior wams up all is just fine. Any thoughts (other than move somewhere warm)?

 

Unplug the tail lights and see if it still does it, if it doesn't the problem is within the tail light housing and if it still does it's a problem with wiring under the dash probably.
