Default A/C Blows through Defroster Only

I tried some other searches and the closest I came was the thread on the blower fuse, but that didn't seem to answer the question

A couple months ago my A/C stop blowing through any vents except the defroster. Actually, all modes only blwo through here. Could this be the fuse on the blower or are we talking about a mechanical issue with a diverter? Any thoughts?

1999 Durango 4x2, 5.2L, Also has rear air, working fine.

Thanks for youre time!

Ended up being a vacuum line issue that solved this and my cruise control issue. Gotta make sure them hoses are attached.

Yes, in my case it was a detached vacuum hose on the firewall above and left of the steering column. You can see the picture in a post above.

If that isn't your problem, I've seen many references to a part down near the passengers feet that can be replaced easily. I cannot recall what it is called, but if you search for posts I responded to, you will find where I responded to a link that had this solution as well.

Peace!

My problem was the motor that moves the door to select the were the air comes out was off the track, it took me about 1 hour to find the door and 2 hours to fix it.
