A/C Blows through Defroster Only
I tried some other searches and the closest I came was the thread on the blower fuse, but that didn't seem to answer the question
A couple months ago my A/C stop blowing through any vents except the defroster. Actually, all modes only blwo through here. Could this be the fuse on the blower or are we talking about a mechanical issue with a diverter? Any thoughts?
1999 Durango 4x2, 5.2L, Also has rear air, working fine.

Ended up being a vacuum line issue that solved this and my cruise control issue. Gotta make sure them hoses are attached.

Yes, in my case it was a detached vacuum hose on the firewall above and left of the steering column. You can see the picture in a post above.
If that isn't your problem, I've seen many references to a part down near the passengers feet that can be replaced easily. I cannot recall what it is called, but if you search for posts I responded to, you will find where I responded to a link that had this solution as well.
