Yesterday I was hit by a Ram. We kinda hit fender to fender. It was his fault and he said he didn't see me when he pulled out of a lot in front of me. My passenger fender is dented, broken front signal and bumper either pushed over or just bent in on that side. Just curious how much do you think it would cost to replace. I already turned it into his insurance company and now just waiting for them to call, but just curious if anyone had an idea on cost of the repair. It sucks, especially being another dodge owner.

 

$3500 would be my guess.

 

It would be pretty expensive. Nowadays, today's modern cars has no harden exterior shell. This is to save weight and crumble in accident situations to absorb energy and provide a safer haven for the occupants inside the vehicles. Mostly the damage being viewed from outside may look rather small and nothing to sneeze at, but you may need to check your internal damages such as your vehicle's framework so it is not misaligned in that section.

Best to take it to a few autobody shops to inspect the damages and get a quote to submit to the insurance company.
