Lincoln Mark Viii electric fan install
I did a new swap ( durango 02 / 5.9L ) .. by installing an used electric fan from Ford crown victoria 2010 ... i cutted about 2 cm from the new e-fan shroud to fit it .
it's the strongest e-fan i ever seen ... even when temp hit over 122 f ( state of kuwait )
it's keeping my engine cool enough ..
only 100 $ i spent to have it from the junkyard and installed by myself ..
i'll try to put some pic as soon as possible

What is the amperage pull of those lincoln fan motors? Last I heard, they pull quite a bit of amperage. I don't want to but a high load on my alternator and worry it may mess up my electrical system in the long run.
Good choice in the e-fan. I've been running the same fan on my '01 Dakota RT for over 5 years now and have never seen my temp go over 200 deg...even in 100 deg weather in stop & go traffic with the AC on full blast.
I'm using the Flex-a-lite 31149 controller set to come on at 190 deg on the low speed side of the fan. I have a DC Control controller waiting in the wings if the Flex-a-lite ever goes out which would allow me to use both the high and low speeds of the fan. So far I've never seen a need for high speed but it's always nice to have the option.
