Default Lincoln Mark Viii electric fan install

Installed this a couple of weeks ago. Took some pics of what I did.

So far everything has been working great. We will see how it holds up to Arizona summer heat. We just hit 112 today.

Bill

That's neat. Nice 7 blade you got there....Is it a pusher or a puller ?

Let us know how it cools.

It's a puller hemi. I think I may have to look into redoing mine for a cleaner look. What did you pull your fan off of? I got mine off of a Mercury sable with the 3.8.

Hemi, I have the Flexlite controller set to keep my temps around 180ish to 190ish. I have a 180 tstat installed.

Mean Green, I bought mine from ebay about $60 shipped to my door. It is from a Lincoln Mark Viii...not sure on what year.

Just a side note. I use to have a BeCool radiator installed. My BeCool had fitment issues and customer service was very lacking. It finally developed a leak 2.5-3 years later and I said screw it and dropped in a factory style radiator. After doing the efan conversion I wish I had done that first. It cost less and parts are readly available. The efan conversion probably cost me all of $200 versus around $500 for the BeCool.

Yeah Arizona is a great way to test your cooling system. My Eclipse just didn't like this Arizona heat, it always ran hot even with a complete over haul of the cooling system. I like that fan set up and will have to look into it if mine ever goes out. My Durango has the clutch fan set up (and I'm assuming that your's did at one time as well) currently, what is the advantage of the fan install that you did over one of those???

Later...

Brekar...
