UPGRADES
Indy,
The HHO setup basically supplements the fuel so you will use less fuel. Simple understanding is using electricity to break down the water into its 2 part hydrogen/1 part oxygen. These gases are then sucked into the intake and mixed with the fuel. Users tweak their fuel mixtures towards the lean side to make up for the hho gases thus getting a better mpg.
I have been reading the HHO threads that are active in some sections of our dodgeforums and alot of speculators, enthusiats and users with knowledge of engineering all throwing their negatives and positives and impossibilities. But the proof and positive result of this is coming from users actually using this technology and all of them came back with very very good results if their setup is done correctly and providing their engine has been properly tuned and running is great condition.
As far as the lens turning yellow, if walmart still sells them, they have a great product that restores your headlight lens. I even made a sticky in the FAQ section. My 92 camry with dull yellow headlights lens are still brand new looking for the past year since I bought that headlight lens restorer cleaner/polisher from walmart for $20

Rob, good to hear from you again, what upgrades are you into now?? I was talking with a co-worker, it appears that the smoke lenses may be illegal in the great state of PA, sounds plausible knowing this state and trying to get every little bit of fines and taxes they can get. I wll research a bit more, but getting clear lens might avoid gettng hassled. I have heard about waxing the lenses and sounds like a good idea.
The leather idea sounds good but all I know so far is $500 for the seat covers, $100 for the heaters, I have no idea of a price for the installation but I can probably figure around $200-400 for that.
I read the HHO thread, it is a supplement to water injection, I worked on a aircraft in the Ohio Air Guard, that in it's original version used water injection that atomized water and provided better takeoff thrust. The HHO thread and explaination, sounds like a smaller scale version of that. I would recommend reading the thread, it sounds pretty good, but I of course am a little skittish of being a guinea pig for new technology although I do like the idea of better mpg and more efffecient use of the fuel. We of course as SUV owners are not exactly eco friendly but, a tree hugger is probably one of the last things that will go on my gravestone.
Happy 4th and drive safely. Next time I get to IND, we need to get a cup of coffee and show off the goods of the Durangos, lets keep the theme spend $4 a gallon to drive to Starbucks and get a $5 cup of coffee.
