Function dual Hood Scoop

Im looking to buy a dual hood scoop for my 03 Durango. How do i make it functional? I have a cold air intake in it now but i heard ram air boxes are what make them functional. Opinions greatly appreciated.

One of the users has a single. Do a search uder ram air or ram air hood in the 1st generation D.
