Calipers sticking ??
I have a 2002 4x2 Durango with 67k miles. I just noticed that my front wheels will NOT spin freely and that my fairly new rotors have a lot of wear on them.Shouldn't you be able to spinthe front wheel with the truck up on jack stands and the wheel hanging in the air and havethe wheelrotate at least a couple times? No matter how hard I spin both front wheels, they stop before even one rotation.
I suspect that the calipers are not retracting as much as they should. How can you tell if that is the case?
By the way, I did NOT put any grease on the slide pins when I replaced the rotors and pads last time. I just found outthat you should do that. Could thatcause the calipers to stick?
Thank you,
Randy
