I'm new to the forum but was hoping that someone could help me with my 1998 Durnago 5.9 problem. My ABS is coming on when the truck is at low speed. I can see the problem with the speedo and that is the truck will almost be stopped but is still reading 10mph, thats when the ABS kicks in for no reason. I have changed the rear diff ABS speed sensor as well as the speed sensor in the transmission. Nothing worked, I do not want to continue throwing money at it without knowing the problem. Can anyone please help?

 

Could be the ABS sensor in the trans?????

 

Is this something that can be replaced by a DIY, or does the whole tranny have to come apart?
