Question Seat Belt Replacement

Hey everybody,

I searched and found a couple ppl had replaced their seatbelts, but it didn't say how hard/easy it was.

I noticed the other day someone had cut the shoulder harness part of the passenger side belt (along with part of the driver's side) and it's hanging by a thread - literally. The local junkyard said bring mine in and they'll be able to match it up.

My question is..do I bring in the entire assembly, i.e. belt along with the wind up spindle thing? And is this something I can do being the mechanically challenged person I am?!

Thanx for any help..
