Default DIY Turn Signal Switch Replacement

Hi all! Does anyone know where I can find instructions/directions on replacing the Turn Signal Switch? I would prefer to do it myself and am hoping the process isn't too complicated for a virgin auto repair girl!!!! Thanks for your help!

your best bet to any DIY repairs would be to go get a Haynes or Chilton manual. i prefer the Haynes. comes in very handy and has step by step how to's along with many illustrations.

otherwise most steering columns have some screws to secure the plastic or some interlocking clips/tabs. determine which type and disassemble the column. usually the switches (turn signal) are simply screwed in with some type of torx screw(s).

if you cannot find a used signal switch locally, check out www.car-part.com
they can locate parts in your general area or nationally. good luck...
