Default Blinkers and brake lights not working...Please help!

My blinkers and brake lights suddenly stopped working last week while driving back from a camping trip. I haven't tried to look at the fuse to see if its blown because my D is my part time car so I wasn't in a hurry to get it fixed. So i'm wondering what could be wrong with it. I should just check out the fuse first but if anybody has had experience with this same problem and know what I need to fix that would probably save me some time instead of trying to figure it out myself. Thanks for any input!

The fuse box is on the drivers side, in the cab where you open the door on the dash, under the turn signal switch.

The fuse is 15 AMP if I remember right.

Were you towing????

Thanks for the reply Hydra..Yes I was towing my boat.. I'm guessing that probably had something to do with it going out.. I did check out the fuse for the turn signals in fact I checked them all and none of them have a broken connection.. Switched out the fuse for the turn signal with the spares that came with the car and still not working. Any other suggestions?

The trailer has a short in it so it blew your vehicle fuse.

Look under the hood in the master fuse box (drivers side) and you should have another fuse called the trailer lights or something like that. Double check that.

The last place I would go would be the flasher located in the cab fuse box. It's the one shaped as a box toward the bottom I think.

my flasher was under the bash behind the fuse box. I pulled it out using some pliers
