Default some questions for the "D" experts?

Hello,
1- how can I get the air out of my Coolant system?
2- is it normal that the hoses of the D become so strong when the T-Stat 195 F open, and is that normal?

Thanks & best regards,

On the 4.7... there is a special burping process.

On the 5.9, leave the cap off until the fluid rolls on by for a minute or two, then button it up.

park your durango on a hill with the front pointed up the hill, take the cap off radiator and let it idle for a lil bit the rev it a lil bit enought to cycle the thermostat on and off then top 'er off with some antifreeze.
and ya the hoses get pretty tight while the engine is runnin'
