Default Hauted Durango

I m looking to buy this 98 4x4 and the gauges with the key on go to 120 mph and then to zero and the tach does the same thing along with all of the lights in the dash for warnings like ABS check gauges and etc. Going on and off while it is idling Also it wont start ,it will if u open the throttle up a little and hold it open to run at 2grand for a minute and and then it will idle rough.I should say that it is not able to to drive and it was running fine the other day no hiccups at all. I have a 96 ram 1500 so I m no stranger to Mopar but all of my diagnostic stuff in another state due to moving so I would love to have some input from you guys.the forum helped me with my Intrepid cooling stuff. THANK-YOU

OK I m not worried about the engine running I m wanting to get the electrical fixed

Thank-you for reading and brain storming

How many miles does it have? What type of engine does it have? How much do they want for it. From what you say the issues already are I'd say 3,500 to 4,500

the no start and rough idle could be a bad IAC valve my 3.9(basically the same just 2 less cylinders) had the same sympotoms and cleaning the IAC fixed it the rest idk tho maybe a loose connection
