I need something to stop all this body roll. I did some research on the board and found that a better sway bar along with Bilstein Shocks might stop the body roll. I found two types of sway bar. Hotshkis and Addco. Hotshkis is twice as much as Addco. Is it worth it? And what are the results like?

 

Yes they will work and yes it helps the roll.

However, if you have bad roll... change the shocks (too.) Use Bilsteins

Have you changed any other suspension parts? they may also have a part in the body roll that you are experiencing.

 

I run the Edelbrock IAS Performer Series shocks and love em. My truck corners like a sports car.

I don't think I would spend the cash on sway bars. Are both of yours installed in the truck or in need of repair?

You can also look into replacing the bushings with polyurathane bushings for increased performance as well.

 

Hey Hydra, A while back I started to get those shocks, but they were back ordered. are they any good over bumps. Someone told me they were kinda lose not stiff. How are they compared to the stock shocks

 

They are not loose. Their nice and stiff for great off roading and the valves hold in the corners on the road. If I ever get another rig I will for SURE use them again!

 

BTW<-----OEM just suck. They don't even compair!

He is talking about the bushings or disconnecting the sway bars.
