check engine light??? P0455

when i replace my gas cap and changed out cracked hoses i had auto zone erase my codes and it never came back on until i didn't tighten the gas cap all the way on the other week. just have auto zone erase the code.

Last time this happend, they did it for me after I went and tightened the gas cap then and there. he said they're not supposed to though. This time, they wouldn't do it. Guess they're cracking down. I'll go up the road and try another one.

Harbor freight tools has scan tools starting at 40 bucks and Sears sells a n ACtron model for 80 bucks=buy your own then give the autozone the bird

One other tidbit=don't over fill the gas tank=top it off=gas will get down into the canister and play havoc sometimes=girlfriend did that and the dealer socked for a new cannister= unplug the hoses let the canister air out and try reseting the code after you put all the hoses back on. The solenoid should be running of a hose on the throttle body. It could also be the leak detection/cannister vent valve=the largest hose on the cannister looks like it connects to it=maybe stickin open.

Dude nice rims 265/35/22 or 305/40/22 for the tires????

Hey DRO,stupid question=what's a pvc enhancer?275/45/20s+30X9.5's for the winter, Bilstiens, Moog ball joints, Personal made front grill, Custom made ram air, Tornado, Fuel Boss, Champion spark plugs, Accel ignition coil, new GMB water pump, 180 degree Jet T-stat, rebuilt trans with shift kit, PVC enhancer!

cut some of the splash guard in front, a little rub but nothing major. no lift on it.

definitely not a stupid question
It is a filter that I use in line with the pvc to filter out all the oil vapors that get sucked back into the intake once I get my camera back from my sis on vacation I'll post the new pic of how much oil has built up since my first pic.
For anyone that remembers the first pic the oil build up was not to bad wait till you see the new pic
