brake problems now
well my wife got home and says the brakes are all messed up.
now it doesn't do it all the time she said.
when you press on the brake it will feel like it skips then grabs and then it will pulsate. so it goes up and down till you go again.
what do you guys think???

I say the brake lines may need to be bled. Does the problem exist in all of the brakes? If not then follow these steps for the ones that are causing the problem. With the car off have someone pump the brake pedal till it is firm, then hold on the last pump. unscrew the bleed valve and let the fluid spew out checking for "air bubbles". Also check the vacuum lines, they may be loose, disconnected or cracked. These steps can be done without disassembling the brakes. Bleeding the brakes can be done by one person, but it's easier with two.

^agree^
Sounds like air in the lines. Bleed em.
The other thing is did you file the control arms flat before installation of the new pad where the pad brackets mount to the slide rails. If there is a ding from the old pads the new ones as they slide can get trapped in them causing the pads to not set firmly flat across the rotors on stop.
Do a search because I've done a couple of write ups about it in the D, 1st gen section.
